今日は小さい時から中３まで教えていた３名を特別に高三の卒業前に参観を行った。３名は16年、15年12年と共にELS21に通ってくれた子どもたち。それも全員家から教室まで遠い。河内長野、鳳、藤井寺。毎週送り迎えをしてくれたママには感謝しかない。そして、頑張って通い続けてくれた子どもたちにも感謝。彼らの成長した姿を最後に見てもらえてよかった。英語を話している姿を見てもらい、考え、笑いながら一緒にレッスンを受けてもらった。そしてレッスン終了後に小さい時の笑い話、昔の教室、共に若かったと・・・昔話に花が咲き・・・記念写真を撮った！！夢に向かい育っていく子どもたちに力一杯のエールを送りたい・・・
今日はNaoyaママがアイスを差し入れしてくれ、去年の卒業生が差し入れを持ってきてくれた。最近とっても賑やかな教室で講師の疲れ切った心にみんなの優しさが沁みる・・・・
みんながいてくれるから、私たちELS21講師は頑張れるんだよ・・・・

Today, I had an open class with year 12 students. They will graduate from ELS three weeks from now. In this class, three students live quite far from school, so I appreciate their parents' patience and the student's diligence to come to school to learn with us. We had a good time and I'm happy that they were able to show their English skills to their parents. I'm also happy that I was able to thank them directly for coming to our lessons all these years. As the class was ending and we were saying our goodbyes, it was hard to hold back my tears. I hope as they graduate, they can apply what they have learned here and continue to grow and improve.
