ついに…！ずっと楽しみにしていた堺の堀めぐりクルーズに、6月7日（土）行ってきました✨
まずは「さかい利晶の杜」で堺の歴史や文化についてしっかり学んでから、みんなで港までおさんぽ。そこから小さなエリアをぐるっとまわる堀めぐりクルーズに出発しました！
ガイドさんが堺の街の魅力をたくさん教えてくれて、「へぇ〜！」と驚くことがいっぱい。
クルーズのあとは、みんなでマクドナルドに行っておやつタイム🍟
そのあと、自分たちの体験についてインタビュー動画を撮影しました🎥
実は…クルーズは想像以上に楽しくて、すごく学びも多い時間でした。
いつもとはちがう目線で堺の街を見られて、「堺ってこんなにおもしろいんだ！」と感じてもらえたと思います。
この日に向けて、生徒たちは一生懸命準備をしてきました。
堺について調べたり、映像に入れる内容を考えたり、自分たちの力でひとつの作品を作り上げようと頑張る姿に、私たちも感動しました。

ちなみに…今回訪れた堺には、私たちの教室のすぐ隣にあるJIKKO（實光刃物）もあります。

We finally went on our long-awaited moat cruise last Saturday, June 7!
We first learned about Sakai at the Sakai Plaza of Rikyu and Akiko, then walked to the port.
We boarded a boat and cruised around a small section of the moat while the guide shared lots of interesting information about our city.
After the cruise, we stopped by McDonald's for a snack. Then we filmed a short interview to talk about our experience.
The cruise was even better than we expected! It was informative and gave us a fresh new perspective of Sakai.
It made me happy to see how much the students enjoyed the trip and how deeply they engaged with Sakai’s history and culture.
If you're curious about Sakai, we highly recommend the moat cruise — we’re sure you’ll have a blast, just like we did!
Sakai is a wonderful mix of modern energy and historical charm. I hope more people will come visit!
